Hassan and Sara
Hassan, a student at Pars, hails from Abadan, where he had once served in the Iranian police force. Raised in a traditional and devout Muslim family, he underwent a profound transformation when he embraced Christianity. For six months, Hassan fervently prayed for his family, resulting in the conversion of most of his relatives, including his brothers, sisters, son-in-law, and around 30 others.
Inspired by this spiritual journey, Hassan transitioned into ministry, where he now leads a network of over 250 members across four cities: Isfahan, Mashad, Rasht, and Abadan. His leadership extends to numerous house churches scattered throughout these cities.
Five years ago, Hassan and his wife, Sara, reached out to their old friend Nasser and his wife, Yasmin, leading to Yasmin's conversion. Together, they established a new house church. Nasser and Yasmin, in turn, evangelized to other families, resulting in 20 more people finding faith. This led to the creation of an additional house church network of 40 members. Remarkably, 10 members of this Abadan-based movement became Pars students.
In July, 10 leaders from Hassan's network in Abadan attended the Formation Conference, along with 10 more students from his Rasht network. Hassan and Sara played a pivotal role in bringing 20 students to Pars through their expansive network. Sara, in particular, is known for her prayerful support and encouragement within their ministry.
Hassan and Sara's influence extends beyond Iran, as they provide guidance and support to Iranians residing in Turkey, Germany, and the UK, often receiving requests for prayer, encouragement, and teachings via WhatsApp from individuals worldwide. Sara's wisdom makes her a sought-after advisor among the sisters in their church community. Despite their extensive responsibilities, Hassan and Sara continue to travel extensively throughout Iran.
