Rev. Joao Luiz Furtado from the Independent Presbyterian Church of Brazil calls its congregations to prayer, calm, and following the recommendations of the health care system. Many congregations have decided to discontinue its public services temporarily. Brazilian missionaries serving in other countries are concerned about the impact that the devaluation of the Brazilian currency will have on the support they receive. A congregation that received support through The Outreach Foundation has postponed its organizing date from march to the second half of the year.
