Missional and Missionary Spirituality: A Journey to Brazil

In the last four decades, The Outreach Foundation has nurtured the missionary vision of churches in Brazil, focused on the development of missional leaders, supported church-planting initiatives and helped launch a movement of spiritual renewal among pastors. Brazilian Presbyterians have developed a strong commitment to sending missionaries to other cultures and countries that we can learn much about. In this trip you will:

• visit with the largest Presbyterian congregation in the Western hemisphere ministering throughout the Amazon region

• be part of “Affirming our Common Commitment,” a historic consultation that will bring together mission leaders from Presbyterian denominations in the country and in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.

• learn from a movement of spiritual formation with more than 400 pastors led by José Pezini, Portuguese-Language Ministries Coordinator for The Outreach Foundation
