Where Needed Most

Toward the end of each year, The Outreach Foundation launches several funding opportunities for individual donors and partner churches to contribute to the global work of Christ. Once again, The Outreach Foundation will offer this year our Where Needed Most giving opportunity.

Where Needed Most is a popular fund that donors have relied upon and funded for years. The money is used where it is needed most. Every year these funds are used in different ways. Several years ago, a church in Rwanda was installing a new roof when several of the pillars used to support the roof collapsed. Faced with an enormous funding issue the church appealed to The Outreach Foundation, and we were able to send $10,000 from the Where Needed Most Fund to the church in Africa.

Recently, we learned the churches in Iraq were in need of funds to secure the outer walls of the church in Mosul, Iraq so that the church would not deteriorate further because of walls collapsing. Damage to the church in Mosul was the result of unrest in the Middle East due to ISIS. Thanks to the gift of a generous donor, the walls are being secured, but monies from the Where Needed Most Fund could have been used for this purpose.

This year it is difficult to determine where funds will be immediately needed. Sometimes our staff or our global workers encounter hardships. The Outreach Foundation does stand ready to meet these needs, and thanks to your generosity, we are able to respond to these emergencies when you give to the fund titled, Where Needed Most.

Thank you for your good and generous gifts.
