Faithful Women on the Road: Lebanon

The Outreach Foundation invites you to consider joining a group of women from Presbyterian churches around the U.S. on a unique mission-vision journey to learn about and build personal relationships with Presbyterian women from Syria and Lebanon.
Led by Marilyn Borst, The Outreach Foundation’s Associate Director for Partnership Development, we will depart on July 21 and return on August 4. The “core” of this journey is a women’s conference that is held every year at a lovely mountain retreat center of the National Evangelical Synod of Syria and Lebanon, north of Beirut.
For the six days of the conference, we will share life together with about 80 sisters from our Presbyterian family from Syria, as well as from Lebanon, learning with and from one another while we worship and enjoy fellowship, study Scripture and reflect upon God’s work in our lives, our families and our congregations. We will also have the opportunity to experience Lebanon and to meet with some of the other ministry partners of Outreach in Lebanon who serve refugees as well as autistic children and the elderly. This team is limited to about 15.
Ground cost is $2,500. International airfare is extra (approx. $1,300 from major departure cities). As required by a decision of Outreach’s trustees, all travelers must be fully vaccinated.
