Tete Province Trip Blog Day 3
Adapted from Outreach Foundation Trustee Berry Long’s 2024 Trip Report
Sunday was a very special day. We left the Leadership Training Center (LTC) early in a light rain. In spite of the rain, nearly 100 people walked to the new church in the village of Nkondedzi. The three-hour worship service had many greetings, singing, and dancing. Mark Mueller preached, and we presented some gifts to the congregation. We received gifts of chickens, sugar cane, and yams from them. After they served us lunch, we went back to collect our luggage from the LTC. We crossed the border and drove to Blantyre, Malawi, for our flight on Monday morning.
Before flying out on Monday morning, we visited the General Secretary of the CCAP Blantyre Synod where we have also drilled wells and built churches.
Our team was richly blessed by our time in Tete Province. We enjoyed our face time with Sebber, Carlos, pastors, and church leaders. The Holistic Evangelism Project continues to flourish and expand. We are extremely appreciative of your prayers, support, and gifts for this Kingdom work. There is still much to accomplish in Tete Province. There is an ongoing need for churches, wells, schools, teacher housing, and birth kits. Raising personnel support for Sebber and Carlos remains a priority. Gifts of all sizes for these needs are welcome. Please continue to lift Sebber, Carlos, and their families in prayer. Your support is a great encouragement to them! All praise and honor to our gracious and loving heavenly Father!!
