About Our Partner

The Presbyterian Reformed Church in Cuba (PRCC) is thriving but faces enormous challenges due to an economy on the verge of collapse paired with the effects of the pandemic which together make it difficult for the PRCC to support its pastors and congregations. The PRCC includes more than 30 organized churches, as well as mission and house churches. With the Episcopal Church in Cuba, the PRCC also owns and operates the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Matanzas, where more than 600 students study programs such as Christian education, lay leadership training, pastoral care in prisons, and specialized training for ministry with people with disabilities. Outreach ministries are another component of the PRCC, including their camp which offers much-needed opportunities for fellowship, spiritual growth, and leadership development to hundreds of children, youth, and adults every year.

The Impact

Gifts to the Cuba Partnership help support these fragile congregations and ministries in the PRCC. Presbyteries have also been working with local churches to create solutions at the local level for struggling workers. Synods are working with presbyteries to help support pastors who have lost wages due to the economic situation.

The OPPORTUNITY

The Outreach Foundation is seeking gifts to support the mission and ministry of the Cuba Partnership. All gifts of any size are welcomed to help the congregations of the Presbyterian Reformed Church in Cuba.
