CCAP Synod of Zambia

The Church of Central Africa Presbyterian (CCAP) Synod of Zambia enables thousands of vulnerable and orphaned children to receive an education in a country where close to 50% of the population is under the age of 18. Teachers and guardians hope that by helping children stay interested in learning, they will be less likely to adopt unsafe behaviors, such as abuse, crime, or alcohol use. Funds are needed for teacher training workshops as well as for textbooks, materials, and teacher stipends.

The Impact

This program educates children who could not go to regular schools due to financial constraints. Funds are needed to help sustain the schools, purchase materials, and support the coordinator in her work.
