VULNERABLE CHILDREN'S FUND
INTERNATIONAL
World Health Organization studies show that street children suffer from health problems ranging from cholera to tuberculosis and anemia, and that they are exposed to a variety of toxic substances, both in their food and in the environment around them. They are also at risk of various kinds of abuse. Previous gifts to the vulnerable children’s fund enabled The Outreach Foundation to support orphans and vulnerable children in Uganda, Zambia, and Kenya.
In a survey taken in 2000, 86 percent of street children identified violence as a major problem in their life. In another survey, 50 percent stated that they had been exposed in some manner to rape. Of the estimated 150,000,000 children in the world on the streets today, the majority are in urban centers of developing countries in Africa; but there are also street children in Russia, Brazil, and many other parts of the world.
The Outreach Foundation continues to seek funds for the vulnerable children’s fund and is soliciting interested churches and individuals to become partners in this vital ministry to feed, clothe, educate, and nurture children in desperate need who, without provision made for caring hands to help them, have nowhere but the street to call home. Unless you specify a particular ministry we sponsor, funds contributed will be sent to the greatest immediate need. Updates from any aspect of these ministries will be shared with all donors and supporters. Please partner with us in providing ministry, shelter, hope, and compassion to these little ones.
Minimum goal: $500 per child per year-Food, clothing, medicine and education
